MT-1
MT-1 (Melanotan I, afamelanotide) is a linear alpha-MSH analog (CAS 75921-69-6). Nle4 and D-Phe7 substitutions enhance MC1R binding affinity and confer DPP-IV resistance relative to native alpha-MSH. It is the reference agonist for MC1R pharmacology in melanocyte culture models and is used to map eumelanin synthesis pathways via the cAMP-MITF-MC1R cascade.
